Hajj pilgrims facing long flight delays
PESHAWAR: Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, who have started their journey back to their homeland, after attending world's largest congregation in Saudi Arabia, are facing extra ordinary flight delays.
Geo News on Thursday reported that a flight of private airliner, which was originally scheduled to arrive in Peshawar on Wednesday, suffered a delay of 24 hours and it is now expected to reach there at 5 pm today (Thursday).
The airline's management said the flight had to face the delay due to some operation problems at Jeddah airport. On the other hand, a Saudi airline's flight arrived at the Peshawar Airport today at 1:30 PM, after a delay of about one hour.
Relatives and others attendees of the Hajj pilgrims have also been facing difficulties due to the flight delays.via geo
