PTI calls off Lahore sit-in after eight days
LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called off its sit-in against the poll rigging in NA-125.
The protest which started on May 12 at Lalak chow of Defence area continued for eight days with a a large number of people including man and women expressing resolve to continue their movement for the progress of the country.
They refused to end the sit-in despite several appeals made by the local leaders of the PTI. However, the sit-in was finally called off after Imran Khan's request, which was conveyed to the protesters by his sister Aleema Khan.
