Pakistan dismissed for 230 in first outing

HARARE: An inspired spell of medium fast bowling by BV Vitori in the post lunch session on day 3 helped Zimbabwe take a 64 run first innings lead.

The collapse started when immediately after lunch Panyangara got the prized scalp of Younis Khan getting him to drive upishly on the on side. Younis followed his 200n.o in the previous Test with a well accumulated 77 off 223 balls with 9 fours.

Abdur Rehman was LBW for a first ball duck. Rest of the batsmen wasted little time in returning to the pavilion as Vitori ran through the tail.

BV Vitori was the pick of the Zimbabwe bowlers as he claimed 5 wickets giving away 61 runs.
T Panyangara supported him well as he bowled tight lines to get 3/43 of his 22 overs nine of them being maiden.
