PTI to nominate Sheikh Rasheed as new opposition leader

LAHORE Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has been decided to bring forward Lead of Awami Party and Colition Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed as opposition leader in National Assembly.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s leader senator Babar Ghori has already contacted each other some day before. Sources also claim  that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek i Insaaf, Imran Khan and leader of Awami Muslim Paksitan League Sheikh Rasheed had an important meeting in Rawalpindi in which core national issues were discussed them.

Both  of the leaders of their respective parties said that Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim Nawaz have made deals with one another before Election 2013. PTI suggested the name of Sheikh Rasheed as opposition leader  in National Assembly and for this purpose also contacted other political parties of opposition in National Assembly of Pakistan.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed also contacted MQM Babar Ghori and discussed political situation of the country that were run in the Country. 

According to the Party Position in National Assembly, PPP has 45 seats in the National Assembly (NA) whereas Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf has 35 and Mutahida Qaumi Moment has 24 seats reserved in Assembly. If both the parties reach mutual consensus then PTI+MQM will have more seats than PPP and therefore new leader of the opposition may get elected then. Sources also claim that discussion with Imran Khan did not include for selection of Sheikh Rasheed as new leader of opposition in National Assemlby.
